La Grande Motte
This photographic project highlights the singularity of the architecture of La Grande Motte, symbolizing a real break with the classics of the time. The architecture of the city surveys organic, figurative forms, inspired among other things by the Mayan temples. It is a visual reflection on spaces and places that refer to utopia. La Grande Motte was built by Jean Balladur in 1969 to allow the French middle class to go on vacation to an exotic and atypical place. The architecture is thus avant-garde and original. These milky images highlight the seaside resort in a calm moment, here, out of season, devoid of people. In this temporal between two, as frozen in an exotic setting, this place reveals all its daring.
